Music
Using the singing voice to bring unity, peace & comfort has been a prominent Anabaptist tradition through the centuries and has been especially meaningful to Hartville Christian School. In the 1950s and 60s, the school had one of the most well known choral groups around known as the Hartville Singers. Many people in the Mennonite/Anabaptist world have fond memories when they hear the name Hartville Singers!
We keep this tradition and heritage alive by giving each student the opportunity to learn to sing from sheet music, give seasonal performances & go on an annual singing tour in their high school years. These times of singing & touring are a meaningful time for our students to bond, create friendships & learn more about the Anabaptist values that we try to instill in every student.
