Admissions Policy
Anyone interested in acquiring a Christian education is welcome to enroll at Hartville Christian School (HCS). Each applicant must qualify for admission and be willing to agree to submit to HCS rules. HCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic and national origin in educational policies, admissions policies, enforcement of its policies, and athletics and other school-administered programs. Applicants are expected to abide by and support the biblical ideals and Christian standards of the school.
We believe that enrollment is a partnership between the applicant and their parents. Therefore an interview with both the parents and the applicant is an integral part of the application process. It is important that both understand the standards and principles of HCS and are willing to adhere to them before enrollment is approved.
In cases regarding applicants with special needs, HCS will accept applicants on a conditional basis. If HCS is not equipped to handle the special needs of a particular applicant, they reserve the right to decline admission of that applicant. Each applicant will undergo an in-depth interview and evaluation from the administration and an evaluation from a proper specialist.
HCS reserves the right to select or decline students, on the basis of academic performance, religious commitment, lifestyle choices, and personal qualifications including a willingness to cooperate with the HCS administration and to abide by its policies.
